yeah, kinda sorta made "Playstation 2.5" up but not really...

It's been said in articles here and there like, you know, that's what certain industry folks are calling the system. According to the article, the official name will be "PSX" which is confusing in a sense because that was the original moniker for the PS1 I believe.
