Ronin - it's not like I suped the car up or anything. It's just that I've made so many payments on it; If I were to lease a new car or buy a different car - all of that money that I've paid into this car becomes WASTE. Ya feel me?

Luna - Got ya. I know for SURE that I will not be making any decisions tonight. As a matter of fact, this meeting tonight resulted after a game of phone tag between me and the guy who originally sold/leased me the car. I told him I'd meet him BRIEFLY to discuss the numbers adn then I would make my decision sometime after that. I said nothing else.

First time, this guy took me for a nice ride...(long story as to how & why I allowed it to happen...)

But not this time. not again. :nod:

Leasing = Renting
Buying = Mortgage

Since you are not trying to attain an asset, merely just paying for use and depreciation, leasing is not nearly as much as buying. Usually about 75%. Now if we could only get k1d in here to talk about the joys of leasing....

Boy the way Glen Miller played,
songs that made the hit parade,
guys like us we had it made,
those were the days,
and you know where you were then,
girls were girls and men were men,
mister we could use a man like Herbert Hoover again,
didn't need no welfare states
everybody pulled his weight,
gee our old Lasalle ran great,
those were the days!
