And why stop there? I don't like blondes, I think I need to go to a school with all brunette lovers. I prefer a tall slim build on a guy, I only want to be educated with others that also like this build.

Let the faggots have thier school. Let them be gay. Let them be allowed to parade it around until such a time they DO seem silly (its getting there, I know..)

It's just that we have a way to go still in terms of living in a society that truely embraces ALL ingrediants of our melting pot. We're still struggling with the races, nevemind the struggle between those who are homophobic and the gay populace.

Fact - homosexuals are not as accepted as heterosexuals. When the time comes that they are on equal footing, then I'd kindly ask that they stop whining and bitching about not having rights, etc.

But, last time I took note:

- not all 50 states allow same sex marriages nor same sex parenting/adoption...

hmmm...that one example tells me that we're not exactly over the hump of "homophobia" as a society methinks.

Ever think of this:

Maybe when there's nothing to bitch about, they'll stop? Maybe when they are no longer harrassed they'll stop seeking out alternatives?

I work with gay people, I've made friends with some. I'm a Domin-irican, a minority; someone who HAS felt the sting of racism, of harrassment. Perhaps this is why I feel this way, that gays should be allowed to attend such a school.

Now, ultimately, I'm with the Ninnster when she says that its a shame it's even an issue to begin with. Because, it really is. Gay children (just like minorities) shouldn't feel harrassed in the first place.

And also, if my child were gay, I'd keep him in a "normal" school so he/she could learn to deal with the hostility at its purest form...."cafeteria/hallway ridicule".

But seriously, if I felt my child was in danger and I felt he/she needed to be transferred to a "safe for gays" school, I'd consider (as a parent) the option of sending my child to such a school.
