Sorry, but I can't agree with you on this one.
Bloomberg gets such a raw deal for the most part. The guy is making REALLY tough decisions for this city, and with truly, very limited options. A big part of what he's had to deal with is paying the bills the have come due from Giuliani (and Pataki.) You can't just wish away hundreds of millions of dollars in debt. No, he hasn't struck gold on everything he's been doing at all, but for the most part he's taking on things that no other politician would have had the balls to take on, and the city is and will be better for it.
His opponents don't help their causes at all by often exaggerating or lying about the potential negative outcomes of the things they oppose.
