You can thank Nintendo for the Playstation brand! Read up on it, you'll see that everything Sony learned about in making a game system, they learned from Nintendo.

You can thank Nintendo for wireless controllers, analog controllers, cartridges that saved your progress (either via passwords or battery backups) AND they are the only true gaming company left in this industry!!!
