The only reason I didn't mention Protestantism is because there are so many variations of that branch, it would be inconceivable to list all of their offenses. And truth be known, the Protestant faith only exists because people didn't like all the stringent rules of Catholicism (or in some cases, like Puritanism, didn't find them stringent enough), so they picked and chose what rules they wished to follow, and made that their religion.

The whole point in following a religion is that you must have <b>conviction</b> in your beliefs. It's not a sport where you can be a "casual fan", showing up when it is convenient for religion to enter your life. If you are going to be religious, than religion has to come first. This is what they teach you.

It is not an aspect of your life; it <i> becomes</i> your life. That half-assed attitude where you don't wanna wake up in time for Sunday prayer won't get you into whatever Heaven the priest or rabbi promises you.
