When i spent the summers with my great Grandmother she would explain to me that there is no God and no Hell. Only good and evil and that humans as a race are in a constant struggle with the good and the evil inside themselves and in the world as a whole. Also that we are the only ones to condemn ourselves to damnnation.


My Grandmother on the other hand would make me sit outside(rain, day night, snow,etc.) at the mention of the words "hell", "damn" or saying "God" in a derogatory fashion.


Both these things affected me int he sense that i believe that there is a Hell but in my opinion it is a personal one and we struggle with it on a daily basis and we're the only ones who have the power to condemn ourselves to it. But i have enough respect for others beliefs not to slander God or the beliefs associated.


Oh well.
