New York Mets 2003 Season Thread: The Funeral Procession continues...
#4
Quote:Just curious, does anyone have the stats as to what the ratio of their runs scored to errors is? I wouldn't be surprised if they are close or if the errors actually surpass the runs scored.

Courtesy of updated stats at mlb.com (their stats are sick):

Mets: have scored 113 runs, have made 32 errors (in 31 games!!), have given up 12 unearned runs out of 153 total runs scored on them, 2nd to last in batting at .236, and 2nd to last in fielding pct at .973.

By the way, this DOESN'T include the NUMEROUS misplays and lack of good judgement by assholes like Cedeno, and especially Alomar. If they were included in the errors group, we'd definitely have more errors than runs scored.

At least we won today, Floyd hit a Grand Slam, and Benitez actually kinda made it look easy. That's 1 in a row. Rolleyes
