OK... it's sounds like your computer is geared towards all mp3 files to be played on your "QuickTime player" and this may not jive right with this streaming software.
Maybe if you would installed WinAmp again, and it should ask to take over the MP3 file needs. However, you have to make sure it is a WinAmp player BEFORE the 3.0 version. I found this link that you could download the WinAmp 2.91 version (free shareware) from download.com...

Download that version of WinAmp, and install it, and make sure it handles all you mp3 file needs automatically. Hopefully that will fix your problem.
