finally saw the video today
two things come to mind after seeing
the video and reading the article

The Mexican Air Force released a video recorded by pilots using infrared light that shows what they say are 11 unidentified flying objects.

The pilots said they encountered the objects as they flew about 5,000 feet over the southern city of Campeche in the Yucatan peninsula.

According to the pilots, the plane's radar detected various distinct objects, but even more were visible through the infrared camera. A radar operator said he was amazed during the several minutes that the objects followed the plane.

The pilots were participating in a nighttime reconnaissance mission to
intercept drug traffickers' planes.

calling bullshit on this one for two reasons:
1.since when does mexico have an airforce
2.mexico always reports UFO's after a celebration when sombreros are thrown into the air.
