FTL--I just have a bad feeling about it. I can understand the generators going down and affecting part of the city, but 5 fucking states!!! They have measures to prevent that from happening, and something caused them to be ineffective. Its a little too fishy to me.

The power goes out for one day and everyone wants someone else to do their job for them.

Well, you think measures are in place.

Prior to Sept 11 2001, we thought measures were in place to provide secure air travel.

Perception isn't always reality....

canada and the us are already pointing fingers back and forth. each one is blaming the other for the failure.

I was stuck in NYC....

but...

Got high, drank, sat on roof and watched the dark silohuettes of buildings, an almost full moon, and actually could see stars.

And, got picked up by car and brought out to Long Island, where there is power, a/c, etc this afternoon.

City is still fucked. No subways, no LIRR, no metronorth still.

Wow. No mercy for the Canucks.

just overpower them with those forces, huh?

Those Mounties don't have a chance against our troops who can wear $2 shirts with the best of them.
