Anyone follow wrestling outside of this country?
#1
Just wondering, there are not many topics being made in here, yet along outside Vinny Mac's business.

Anyone watch or follow pro-wrestling based in other countries such as: Mexico, Canada, England, Germany, Australia or Japan?

If so, let me know so I could start up other discussions in here to elude the other stagnant threads in this particular forum.

EDIT: One more thing, are we permitted to have discussions on shootfighting promotions such as: UFC, PRIDE, Pancrase, or K-1?

Sweetie, knock yourself out. I plead ignorance to much of what goes on internationally in pro wrestling (although I do have an interest in Canadian wrestling), but this is the Wrestling forum, not a WWE-only forum. Besides, maybe bringing up some puroresu might bring some "purists" out of hiding.

EDIT: So I can't spell puro... bite me. Tongue

I see the return of Sir O.....I actually watch Lucha Libre ocasionally. It's on mute but I still watch it. If they had Jap wrestling or some of that other stuff UFC, Pancratium, Pride, on TV I'd watch it. So like our beloved Peachy said, go right ahead and post away. I guess you see all these WWE centered threads is cause right now, aside from NWA, they're the only big game in town.
I'm not quite there yet

Just curious since you know about this wrestling. Where do you actually get to see it?

I've talked to a bunch of people that mention Japanese and Mexican wrestling, but I never know how they see it. I know I sure don't get it in my area. Hell, I don't even fucking get NWA-TNA around here. :disappointed:

You can download certain matches via Kazaa. You can also download P2P software such as hotline client. And if you want video tapes, I reccomend Highspots, cheap prices and the delivery is very quick. They arrive in about 2 days.

Heh, I really haven't been keeping up with the puro or the lucha lately. I still read results online, so I have a general idea of what's going on, but it just seems like wrestling overall is in a really bad funk, not just the WWE (which is beyond pathetic at this point), but even solid promotions like NJPW and Toryumon have seen a sharp decline in quality. CMLL actually was still going strong last I remember, and I'd probably watch the TV if my cable company carried Galavision, but I guess my general apathy towards wrestling has left me not caring enough to order the tapes.

God I miss mid-90's AJPW...the absolute pinnacle of what professional wrestling ought to be IMO.
