You know what I noticed.....when I drink alot, and I mean alot, I never really wake up with that bad of a hangover. I usually drink like about 8-9 Heinekens.....and possibly a shot with each beer, sometimes So-Co, sometimes Jager, and in the morning I only wake up a bit sluggish. This weekend I had like 5 Heinekens, a double shot of Yager, 2 more Heinekens and a shot of So-Co and lime and woke up at like 11am with my head pounding. Could it be cause I didnt drink enough that I had a hangover ????

yes, when i get sloppy drunk, i feel much better the next day then when i get a good buzz on. i always just assumed that the extra alcohol was helping to keep my body numb during the hangover.

This answer probably won't make any sense medically, but could it be the order you drank.
I noticed the first example mentioned a shot with each beer. The second one said beers then shots, then back to beers and then a shot again.
Could be you "confused" your body and head. Either that or you're just getting older.

Seriously though......I go out and get sloshed constantly. The one night I actually show a wee bit of restraint I wake up the next day with a headache so bad it hurt to blink
