I'd like to wrap this thread up by saying I thought of Sloats throughout my evening.
I went door to door, (driving, I live in the middle of nowhere) and one door, as I pull in, the lights go on in the driveway. I pull the boys out of the back, a PandaBear and Puppydog, and pull on their hoods and walk to the door with our Halloween bags. My eldest, 3, knocks on the door......which is unlatched and slips open a little on his tiny knock. All of a sudden, this GOBLIN looking thing jumps up from the side into the open door width......with some cackling goblin torch. My son was so scared, he screamed like a little girl and fell over on his ass. I laughed so hard I almost wet myself. The wife of the home thought I was a sick parent, the dad that went out of his way to dress like a goblin and scare the shit out of little kids thought it was great.
