i posted a whole long thing before but then the board went down. anyway, i did the times square thing in 2000. but instead of standing in the cold all night we just went down at 11:30 and stood at around 37th st. we were behind all the stuff but could still see the ball drop from pretty close.

this year i'm scheduled to work. i could get it off but unless there's some amazing party to go to work's not so bad, we have open bar so i can drink and the money's pretty good too.
