That's "SIR" Michael Caine, thank you very much...

Did you mean Tim Burton for director? Amen to that.

I can see Bale pulling Batman off, I just don't understand why they plan to revisit the origin story.
I think they're going with the "Batman: Year One" comic as their inspiration this time. And besides, even Burton fucked up the origin in the first Batman (Jack Napier, aka Joker, was not the low-level thug who killed Wayne's parents).
So it becomes a clean slate, and frankly, the franchise needs it. Badly.

I read somewhere they signed Michael Cain to a 3 picture deal. This franchise needs desperately to be saved, but from the sound of things.....I dont think thats gonna happen.

I think the idea of Year One is good. Burton fucked it up on the origin but it was still a lot of fun. I still want to see Batman vs. Predator..

Ra's Al Ghul? WHO?
Maybe it's just me, but I like the idea of knowing who the villains are in the superhero movies.
I've never even heard of this character. What's so special about him to make him a worthy opponent for Batman?

He is a man who is kinda immortal and has a vast criminal empire with delusions of grandeur. He is one of the only bad guys who actually respects Batman and knows his true identity. And his daughter is madly in love with Bats.

This movie should kick ass, the various script snippets I've read suggest so, anyway.

Yeah, we need that Watchmen movie to get rolling, too, dammit!

New Batmobile?
This looks more like the Bat Hummer to me. I know this is from the "early days", but frankly this thing looks stupid to me.
