First pitch of his first at bat of his career on the first pitch of the season, that was pretty exciting.
I have to admit, I was pretty excited after last nights game, but i'm prepared to be let down soon. The Mets can't possibly be this good, even though the Braves might actually finally be this bad.

Mr. Met is happy too.
As much as it is nice to win the opening game and even more so against the much hated Atlanta Braves, the Mets always find a way to choke. Here's to hoping for the Wild Card spot. :disappointed:

I only pray that we can play .500 ball this season.
A wild card berth would be great but there's no chance in hell I will allow myself to think that that is even a possibility.
Not unless it's late August and it's looking like the Wild Card is within reach.

BAHAHAHA!!! A lowly Red Sox fan is soooooo much worse!!! Least most Met fans were alive to see a World Championship! And, who did they beat again in 86'??
I don't think there is a more pathetic team in any sport then the fucking Red Sox. As a Sox fan you should just blow out your brains and save yourself the trouble of the rest of your life living in turmoil.
btw, I have three words for you clam chowder boy, Aaron "fucking" Boone...
