GO LEAFS GO!!!

The Senetors are the only team in the East that might be able to win the Cup. Any one else will be a sacrificial lamb for either Colorado or Detriot.

It such a shame that the flyers can't seem to get anywhere in the playoffs. I've come to the conclusion to enjoy the time they are in the playoffs while not expecting too much in terms of results.

With that said I think they can go all they way! Rolleyes

The Laffs haven't been to a cup final since they made the league 12 teams, correct?

John Leclair and Desjardins should retire so we can sign some players that might actually play for an entire season. I hate when the Flyers let these broken wagons lay around like this. They did it for Hextall, they did it for Lindros. Fuck. How can a hockey team's players develop a collective presence on the ice if their key fucking players aren't there half the fucking time? I'm convinced this is part of what stalls the Flyers progress in the playoffs. They're a good team with talent, but the old hats they let hang around too long bring the team down. In order to develop and maintain well balanced (offensively and defensively) lines than those same five guys have to play together consistently. Half the time it seems one doesn't know what the hell the other is doing. So you have this dump and chase bullshit happening over and over.

I haven't watched very much of this season at all but it also seems that these oldheads are prone to injury. Leclair is hurt almost every season. And Desjardins came back for a day and is out again for the season. I guess they just don't have the ability to maintain their strength throughout the season. Also I kinda get pissed when these guys are hurt and sit out for weeks or months but somehow they all end up on the roster again right before the playoffs.

Lindros used to do that shit all the time.

The Senators have been there for quite awhile. This might be their year.

Only reason I have a little more faith in the Flyers is cause they finally have a goalie who wont wander 10 feet away from the net. I dunno why they kept Czekmonik(sp?) for so long.

The Flyers havent had a consistent goalie since Hextal and even then you werent sure hed stop most of the shots.

I'm rooting for the Devils eventhough for some reason i just cant get into the playoffs this year. I dunno just not that interested.

Philly has a shot...no more excuses for them. Esche and Burke is the most solid goaltending they've ever had since Pell Linberg solidly met his death in a car crash.
