Hot rumor from Sirius...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't the Sirius studios in NYC?

I know XM is in DC.

Sirius has a broadcast facility in NYC, in Manhattan.

They also have the ability to do video production in-house.

The possibilities for expansion are endless if O&A do go to Satellite.

Something people forget... Infinity and Clear Channel are very cautious to fuck with their bottom line because they are old school. However, Sirius and XM can take chances because they have nothing to lose.

That's why O&A going to Satellite has so many possibilities. They are going to have resources, they are gonna have a new way of thinking, and they don't have to deal with multiple levels of corporate bullshit that CC and Infinity have.

I'm not sure satellite is a good idea. Even though it's probably already a done deal. Why else would it be leaked?

Can you call in to a satellite radio show? Do they have instant feedback? The audience contributed a lot to the show. Many of the bits were start by someone in the audience. Can this happen on satellite radio?

Your reading comprehension disturbs me.

As I said five posts ago....

It's not like O&A are going to be in a space station. Sirius has traditional studios, it's just the TRANSMISSION is different.

You can still call in and feedback. That hasn't changed.

Important point no one has mentioned, though I'm sure most realized: O&A being on sattelite doesn't mean they can't come back to broadcast too. Currently, on XM, their EXTREME talk station syndicates such earthbound shock jocks as Bubba The Love-Sponge and Monsters of the Mid-Day. Might screw up their sattelite show though, in that they'll still have to watch their language Sad I dunno about y'all, but I think their having to watch what they say added a great level to the show. Made them be inventive with their analogies, often with hilarious consequences.

Oh ok, phew. I hate to break it to anyone who hasn't noticed, but the dumping out when someone cursed and the constant laughter afterwards about it made the show 10 times funnier. If the guys didnt have to dump, the show would lose some of it's flavor.

Rock on my niggas!

It's cool, I said it with an 'a'
