I knew i wasn't the only one who thought this bitch wasnt a "hero". I've been saying from the begining that its not fair that all the other people who got a captured are being ignored. The fact she doesnt even acknowledge them is just bullshit.

She's one of these kids who signed up for the millitary for college money that thought there was no chance we'd be involved in another war and figured it was easy money and got droped in the middle of it.

Then her platoon gets lost and get the shit shot out of them by a bunch of Iraqis and gets kept alive to be fucked. Then they had to risk other american lives to rescue her. If anyone in this story is a hero, it's those guys.

All I picture whenever she's discussed is the Pauly Shore movie "In the Army Now". And I think Pauly was smarter then her. At least he didn't get ass raped.

Here's a little known fact. A guy in the platoon with Jessica Lynch took out 9 IRAQIS AND A FUCKING MORTAR POSITION, SAVED THE WHOLE PLATOON WHO WOULD HAVE BEEN BLOWN TO PIECES BY SAID MORTARS AND RECIEVED THE SILVER STAR AND NO ONE KNOWS WHO THE FUCK HE IS!!!!!!!!!!!! This my friend is a war hero that should be celebrated or at least acknowledged for his show of force in the face of adversity. Where is his book? Where is his interviews? I don't know, I guess you'll have to ask the media who have latched onto Jessica Lynch for all its worth. It also says a lot that Johnson who was wearing the uniform regardless of her struggles to get comparible disability benefits while Lynch was dressed in some more 'fashionable' get up. She, as far as I'm concerned is going out of her way to distance herself from the military that in a way has given her this fame and wealth.

Ya know, our priorities as a society are so fucked up and skewed towards narcissistic outlets that we have perfectly healthy peeps lining up around the block to eat a spleen cocktail with Joe Rogan or bare their flabby asses just for a chance to get on TeeVee, maybe get that thrill of having a complete stranger point at you from across the Food Court. Being famous, being noticed, that outstrips almost everything in America today - certainly more prestigous than some silly pablum about "telling the truth".

If Lynch was willing to play ball, she could have gotten whatever she wanted for a long, long time. If Lynch could just go along with the official plotline of the lone survivor, battling tooth-and-nail against rampaging wide-eyed ass-raping fanatics, nobody would be the wiser and she'd be beatified by the entire nation. And if she had a little flair for the dramatic, she could come up with heaps of inspiring antecdotes of her heroic actions as the sole survivor, perhaps having the Bible she always carried being ripped up by sneering Iraqi soldiers, and reciting psalms as they tortured her oh-so-horribly.

But she did none of these things which would make her a national hero for the rest of her life. No, she perplexingly told the truth - her story was not one of a brave hero, but a befuddled kid knocked the fuck out when her humvee crashed and waking up surrounded by swarthy doctors and nurses who treated her wounds and sang to her.

If Lynch wanted attention and celebrity, she clearly didn't want it very badly. In fact, her actions are those one would expect from someone who wasn't the least bit interested in doing anything except telling the truth, even when the truth wasn't nearly as beneficial for her as the pre-made official storyline spun by administration propagandists. And now, the very people who were lauding her as some 21st century Rambo just a few short months ago, are chastising her as a glory hound.

Geez, doesn't she watch TV?
