FU to 'customer service' 'service plans' and repair shops.
#1
Sparing you as many of the utterly boring details as I can.... a year ago my son (through his own enjoyment of hitting the power button on the TV) rendered the machine useless.

We buy new tv with a service plan.

Last weekend I pushed power button to said TV and said power button is now lodged inside the set. Wife called service plan people (sam's club) to utilize said service plan to repair said TV.

It's in-home service. cool. right? well it takes a week to actually get a repair guy (they use outside repair shops) to come look at this thing. He declares that the damage was my fault (no shit fix the fucking thing). Now my wife has spent the day on the phone doing a merry go round ride talking to the repair guy, sams club, and sylvania (the manufacturer).

Who'd of thought None of these fuckers want to pay for the damn thing!!!! :fire::mad::fire:

FU to sams club
FU to repair guy
FU to sylvania and
FU to my strong ass finger breaking a tiny piece of plastic by simply doing what it was made for.

God forbid I am standing by the thing and decide to press the button instead of rumaging through couch cushions looking for the remote.

WDIL? Sams club service plans suck ass and I will be repairing a tv myself this weekend for free the ghetto way.

Furthermore I plan on yelling to stupid non english speaking customer'service' types to get my service plan money back.

Stupid pieces of shit.

stop watching tv and read a book instead.

there, problem solved.

Tongue

but seriously though, that stinks. I never purchased a Sylvania set. Doesn't seem like I willl anytime soon either. Do me and yourself a favor, when you get on the phone with the customer service reps, throw in a couple of "meows" and " buttplugs"...should be quite a hoot.

"What the hell meow happened to my set? meow. I can't meow believe that this happened, this is meow absolutely ridiculous, meow!"

yeah yeah. I guess I'll just have to never actually touch a tv again and just use remotes at least you can replace those for like 5 bucks when they break.

Just a matter of why the fuck did I pay 60 extra bucks for a service plan that is a garunteed piece of shit.

Did you even bother to read the service plan? Most of those things fuck you over with a long list of what's not included.

Buy the kid some cheap push button thingamajig or cover the on/off button so he can't fuck with it.

beat your kid. that should help too.

shove his face into the broken power button, smack him on the nose with a rolled up newspapaer and say "no" repeatedly.

When reading the service plan its a matter of semantics I would say it was broken due to wear and tear while they would say it was broken due to my own negligence.

And the tv was covered long enough for my child to learn not to fuck with the buttons as much.

You guys are missing the point that the service planned tv was broken by me and not my child.

I already verbally and physically abused myself for my actions. I sent myself to my room with no dinner. and I'm grounded for two months. Now comes the part where I gotta figure out how to fix it.
