I don't have the story yet but I heard over the radio that Pettite has been signed to the Astros. 2004 is not looking so brightSad George must be pissed.

Maybe if george worried more about his own free agents and not every other one available, this wouldn't have happened, then again I don't follow baseball like i used to so what do I know

what I don't understand is how George and the Yankees claim that signing Andy was their "No. 1 Priority" of the off-season but yet they decide to not make him an offer AT ALL while Houston comes in and signs him. this sucks

I agree, if this rumor is true and Houston signed Pettitte, Yanks made a grave mistake here... =(

No one has confirmed that Pettitte HAS signed with the Astros......yet.

This might just be a rumor that's been all over the airwaves. Pettitte came up from the Yankee farm system and it would be a disgrace if this IS true about him going to Houston, but he would be closer to home and his family.

THIS WOULD REALLY SUCK for yankee fans especially that they just RAISED THE GODDAMNED TICKET PRICES.
You're a filthy whore!!!

As of 2 o'clock tomorrow we'll all know. Eventhough I'd love him to stay in New York, I believe he's going to the Astros to be close to his family who happens to live in Texas
