I just took out the top can of tuna from a Kosco pack. It has an orange sticker on the top with the following written in pen:

SWC3J
78PA3

What do you think this means? Is it safe to eat it?

Did you ever get an article of clothing with a tag in it that had a number? That just means the inspector with that number assigned to him checked it for quality, I'd guess that your tuna means the same thing.
