Steroids in Baseball

So what do you guys think about all these allegations being thrown around. Giambi shows up to Spring training looking like a shell of what he was last year and he says he lost 4 pounds...BULLSHIT!! Bonds HR record, along with McGwires possibly tainted. You look at some of the stats and you scratch your head, or your balls, whatever suits you. Are these guys juiced?? Probably. Has pitching gone to shit lately?? Definitely. Are some of these newer ballparks homer friendly?? I would say so. One more black eye for the sport. Discuss.

Let me know when the playoffs are. I'll watch. Hockey right now is pointless. Football is watchable because there are only 16 games and then the playoffs. I dont have the time to watch all these god damn baseball/hockey/basketball games. shorten your seasons!

Saying all that, I am still a fan. I just show my support with a small grin or frown when I read the standings and box scores a few times a week.

ditto. I like football the most because every game means something. I don't have the patience to watch regular season baseball games unless the sox are playing the yankees.

I don't agree with steroids being in any sport and would like to see them outlawed. At the same time though I don't think any player should be "blackballed" without being tested.
Do I think that some of those accused (Bonds, Giambi, Sheffield, etc.) are on them? Yes, but until they take a piss test and are shown to be on them this BALCO crap is nothing more than a distraction.

Also know this, even if these players are on the juice, there are so many ways around these tests that everyone might come back clean.

I think they should be fined up the wazoo and if they had records those records should be wiped from the books. That includes Bonds, Sosa and McGwire if it's found out that any of them were juiced.

Nevermind fines. That's never really been a good deterent in other cases.
These players, if guilty, should be suspended from the league.
