Can someone be trained to be a good wife?

MEXICO CITY (Reuters) - Once a week after school, a group of girls from well-to-do Mexican families troops to a meticulously kept house in the south of the capital for a class in how to become the perfect wife.

Girls aged 13 to 18 sit eagerly through lessons in cooking, sewing, ironing, dressing, folding napkins, serving a formal dinner and adding feminine flourishes to a home, like a posy of flowers in the bathroom or initials embroidered on the towels.

Such skills, according to teacher Tota Topete, risk becoming a lost art as Mexico's young women join a global trend of focusing on careers rather than housekeeping.

\"Now all women want to go out to work, but working an eight-hour day when one is a wife or a mother is just not possible,\" Topete, a vivacious and impeccably groomed 60-year-old, said after one of her evening classes.

\"It means neglecting one's husband. He could start looking elsewhere for affection and that could mean divorce,\" she warned.

If there are schools for that, there should also be schools that teach boys how to be good husbands.

well that would be a perfect world right?

I only ask because isn't one person's idea of what a perfect husband/wife possibly different from another person's idea? How can you teach it in a class or a book. Other than through communication between the husband and wife.

I'm a lazy ass by nature. The last thing I need is a wife that does everything for me like cooking and cleaning. I consider my wife to be the perfect wife for me. But she'd not necessarily be another person's ideal.

When they leave this school, do they end up looking like this?

Unfortunately while that may be a good example I tend to think that hands and heads are useful as well.

Hands are overrated, but I'll agree on the head part.
What if I put one on top of the tits and ass? Would that suffice?

Fine, just for you I'll build a special model that includes arms and hands. That's it though, I refuse to go any further.

That's why you'll never become president.

That's a contemporary line of thinking. In days gone by, that wasn't the way. There were set ideas of what a husband's duties were and what a wife's duties were. It was accepted.

Thank God those days are over.
