Alternative energy sources such as?
Without trying to sugar coat it in any way. Arab nations hate us. Even the ones we call allies. They are raised in the teaching that everything we believe in is wrong and moreover evil. Pulling back would be declared a victory by them and possibly fuel a larger scale fire under their asses to breed their hate and act on it. Keeping it over there where they still technically all hate each other and dont want to work together is best. Pulling back may make them smell blood and band together.

Solution: Nuke the entire Middle East. Let's face it, they will never all get along, the Middle East has been a powder keg ready to explode since the dawn of time. It's time just to drop one big ole bomb and solve everyone's problems. This way we can ensure a steady source of oil for centuries once all the eradicated towelhead carcusses turn into fossil fuel. I mean really it's all just fucking camels and sand anyhow, if there was no oil there we would let them all kill each other and starve out like we do for all the non-profitable countries such as Bangladesh, Eithopia etc. Once the atomic fallout is clear in say 50-80 years we can maybe clean it up, build a theme park and charge 20 dollars for a hotdog and small soda. God bless Capitalism!
