I am working 11 hours today then I get to go home and tend to my list. which is a detailed list of items inside the house that need to be taken to the garage which is now my own little organized distribution warehouse so as soon as I sign the lease and get the key I can start loading up the van and my friends trucks. This is going to be the world's fastest move ever. It helps that it's just across town though.

Hmmm...I wonder. :puzzled:

Header, you'd make more money (especially in overtime) being low man on the totem pole, than you'd make at Acme.

I wouldn't know what 11 hour days are like. I work from 9-4 (no lunch hour) and make enough money to survive. I'm not rich, and barely "comfortable" but it gets me through.

If you go for manual labor, do something that pays by piece work rather than by the hour.

Hey I still work!! So I get in at 9:45 and slip out by 4:30 and I take 1-2 hour lunches! I still have to get up at the obscenely early hour of 8am every day, dammit!!!

Yeah i figured that about acme when I applied it was just to see what happened and because I was absolutely fed up with my job at the time. I still hate it but I'm content because the health insurance benefits and whatnot are good. If I were to jump to a more physical job I'd go for something that pays something comparible to what I'm making now at least. Which isn't much. My insurance costs pretty much doubled though so I'm taking home less which is partly making me consider the change. Regardless, I'm just waiting to get moved before I even worry about it.

That's when I usally go to sleep on the weekends. What can I say... I'm not a morning person. As it is I need 4-5 cups of coffee to stay awake before noon.
