The Most Unintentionally Funny Site

There actually exists a
National Association to Advance Fat Acceptance
just not right
i wonder if it is a coincidence that their web server runs really slowly
Quote:Southwest Airlines Policy for Fat Travellers
Please contact Southwest Airlines to express your concern regarding their policy requiring large customers pay two fares.
Quote:\"The 2004 NAAFA Convention will be at the Newark Liberty Airport Marriott, August 5-8, 2004
the fact that they are meeting at an airport? I find that pretty comical as well. Isn't it airlines that are "discriminating" the most?

When I was at my fattest I avoided airplane travel as much as possible. I flew once two flights each way sat by the window so anyone in my row didn't have to climb over me to get to the bathroom or whatever. Everything was going well until my last flight home from detroit (ugh) to philly. I actually spent most of my airtime in rows by myself because the planes were virtually empty.

I get on this packed plane where they consolidated three cancelled flights into one plane. I sat next to this poor lady and the arms were stationary so I was pretty much spilling out of this thing. I made it a point to ask the lady and the other gentleman in the row if it was going to be a problem sitting next to me. They said no. I was ready to get off the damn plane and catch another one if it was going to be.

Fat people need to fucking take a step back to look at themselves. If you're going to spill over into a second seat you should not get bent out of shape when the airline tries to get you to pay for another seat.

Damn, that's funny.

But as a fat person, that site just makes me sick. The world shouldn't have to change for you if the reason you need something extra is because you're fat. I know there are certain things I can't do comfortably (running comes to mind) unless I drop a couple of tons. And until then, it's my choice...live with those limitations or get in shape & have no excuses.

I'm going to sue Mazda for not making their Miata model of car big enough to accomodate me.

I'm going after VW for not being able to get my fat ass in a VW Bug. Gonna get me some of that German money...although I wouldn't mind being paid off in Master Race poon instead.

does this logic work for tall people too? I want to sue Fenway Park for not making the seats big enough for tall people. I don't go to games often because I'm so damn uncomfortable in the seats because of my height.

No because you can get a seat in the back row and stand. Now be sympathetic with my struggle!
