While I don't post nearly as much as many others, I'm offended by this statement. Once again, define "worthless". If it keeps the board alive and keeps it somewhat entertaining, is it worthless?

What the hell difference does it make who's a mod? Is it a job you would want?

i'm not sure what issue is. i think rooner should have been made mod AGES ago. mods don't just moderate..they take part and set a tone. anyone can push a button..but do they get easily pissed off, or roll with the punches, and still able to get along? how many mods on the current list post daily, take part, etc? not many.

there are others just as deserving, but i don't see one higher or lower than the other. just my opinion on it. i mean...it's said he's just another worthless poster...well, you just summed up the entire membership. it's not rocket science. its supposed to be fun place to post.

Therefore I see no point. What I'm trying to get at is I see other people who deserve to be mod that never got the chance and could have made this board better but yet we go with who's here the most. Maybe if had better people with more to add there would be a lot more active posters. The useless banter adds nothing the message board and deters people from posting because of unintelligent replies.

I'm not saying that anyone is stupid. Please do not get me wrong but the board can resemble Romper Room many times.

i cite the 5 points only to use 60feets motif...the point is....many can be a mod...rooner just seems to be one of many fine folks that would be good at pitching in behind the scenes. You, Dru, Gmann, and quite of a few others would be good ones too.

Now you may disgree on those points i did list, b/c there are some better in other stuff, and his comedy may not be your cup of tea, but my point...he's no worse or better than anyone else, and the conglomeration of those points cited is why he's a good candidate.

Now, if its not liking the whole triplets angle...i hear you. i was not liking the old oa.com chatthreads either...but then again, if more people were posting and taking part on the board besides them...would you really notice?? it's a sketchy subject b/c i was on your side of the fence on it back on oa.com...i hated it....but, now i'm kind on neither side of the fence...b/c it is activity. if anything, most of their threads should be in the silera's box section....but i think the Romper Room aspect has always been a part of the board...just that it's more like they are the only ones posting lately.

Are there people whos should not be mods?? Absolutely. For whatever reasons they weren't chosen. I'm with Sweet here, it's a pretty thankless job and I wouldn't want it. Personally I think it would just be easier to let it go and roll with it. As long as said mod isn't stepping on you for posting something unpopular, or going against the grain of the thread, like Brain did to me in the Jamie Pressly thread (Side Note: FUCK JAMIE!!!!!) I may not be funny or have some good witty one liners lined up, and I am a pretty boring person for those of you who know me outside of the board, but, this whole thing is supposed to be fun, let's try to keep it that way.


On a more personal note, Lush, I find your eyes and smile to be quite pleasing...I don't see you on AIM anymore, what happened??
