I just get annoyed.
I am too guilty of chat threads but thats what IM's are for. Chat threads should have more meaning and anyone who's done that with me know its a different level. Not to say I'm better than anyone because look at my status; everything pertains to sex...it might as well be potty jokes.

I'm sick and tired of all this petty bullshit, if it's not fun to post here than don't. We've tried time and time again behind the scenes and out in the open to discuss the boards activity and flow & how we could make it swell but it just doesn't prove to be effective.
No one can set the tone of a messageboard by themselves. It takes all of us to make this place unfunny and boring. The finger pointing is getting to be a tired schtick and im not even directing this at you D bc i do agree with you, however it can only offer suggestions and ideas to discuss these things, when the final decision is made in regards to this board Pat is the only one with the last word.
I know Pat and i talked about Rooner becoming a Mod, awhile back but it just seemed bad timing for him. As far as the other Mods go, i only talk to a couple off of the board. The rest are not worth my time when im not logged in here, as well with most of you.
I think that's all i have to say cause yeah.

About chat threads. Honestly, I come to a messageboard to post to shoot the shit. Sometimes I come with a specific thing to say. Most times, I've got nothing.
That said, I find myself chasing Topper and Rooner from thread to thread and it does get mind numbing to think that we are conducting one conversation throughout 5 threads at a time. Whether it is something specific or just our brand of 'humor', I'll admit it is probably annoying for anyone else to log on and see all the most recent threads have had their last post made by one of us three. I have the remedy (for getting me to shut up at least). Find some way to stop ROoner and Topper from posting the way they do and I will just sit here and stare at the inactive board like everyone else waiting for something to be said.
Making Rooner a mod will instantly slow down his posting. Okay maybe not right away but it's just how it is. Now to quiet TOpper.
If me shutting up will make you feel better I'll try.

nothing wrong with chat threads...it is the lack of energy by most here, and just the quietness in other areas of the board..that really is a problem. board needs energy....needs new members...or it will languish off and on, sometimes things will happen to drive up interest, but it will just ebb and flow on the regulars unless new peeps join.

the chat threads are more pronounced b/c it is the only thing of energy going on. back about a year ago, FTL complained about me, ken, MYLF, rooner, hottie and 60feet about chatting up and having fun in threads...now we all wish for those days. Point is, nothing wrong with chat threads, goofy energy and shennanigans....but it needs to be in areas for that play to happen b/c it's not everyones cup of tea. but...it shouldn't stop either.
