What's the pattern in this sequence?

infinity, five, six, three, three, three, three,...

In 2 dimensions, the most symmetrical polygons of all are the `regular polygons'. All the edges of a regular polygon are the same length, and all the angles are equal. If you only count the convex ones, it's easy to list all the regular polygons: the equilateral triangle, the square, the regular pentagon, and so on. In short, there is an INFINITY of regular polygons: one with n sides for each n > 3. (The cases n = 0,1, and 2 are bit degenerate.)
In 3 dimensions, the most symmetrical polyhedra of all are the `regular polyhedra', also known as the `Platonic solids'. All the faces of a Platonic solid are regular polygons of the same size, and all the vertices look identical. We also demands that our Platonic solids be convex. There are only FIVE Platonic solids:

The tetrahedron, with 4 triangular faces.
The cube, with 6 square faces.
The octahedron, with 8 triangular faces.
The dodecahedron, with 12 pentagonal faces.
The icosahedron, with 20 triangular faces.

Shall I continue? Or has your brain already imploded? Tongue

Intelligence is a worthless name to something you cannot prove you have. people are action, there is just too much fucking thinking and overthinking going on...and not enough action. Cause/Effect...doing/being. Intelligence is the lump in your head coming along for the ride. If it isn't causing action, it is meaningless, pointless, and as useful as a piece of wood.

While profound, I still found that statement lacking in intelligence.

Besides, I bet Gene Simmons could lick his elbow easily. Tongue

The "sixth sick sheik's sixth sheep's sick" is said to be the toughest tongue twister in the English language.

I think Brain played a lot of DnD when he was younger. I still don't understand why they gave you a crayon with the dice? A black felt tip marker worked best.

Boy the way Glen Miller played,
songs that made the hit parade,
guys like us we had it made,
those were the days,
and you know where you were then,
girls were girls and men were men,
mister we could use a man like Herbert Hoover again,
didn't need no welfare states
everybody pulled his weight,
gee our old Lasalle ran great,
those were the days!

The voice of intelligence ... is drowned out by the roar of fear. It is ignored by the voice of desire. It is contradicted by the voice of shame. It is biased by hate and extinguished by anger. Most of all it is silenced by ignorance.

While I do believe Brain to be intelligent, I doubt that his original post was his own work. Attempting to take the intelligence of others and passing it off as your own intelligence is the antithesis of it.

GIP I'm just sick of some of the pointless threads around here that are beyond stupid, and figured that this thread would at least get some intelligent posts (see how many times I can use the word in one post). Intelligence it not something that needs to be specifically proven as its level always being shown, even if indirectly.
