Gotta agree with Kid, the internet boon, when anyone could make a fortune, is over. Now, you need to link your site with something real-world, like selling something or providing a service, to make a fortune. Like the guy who invented E-Bay.
If you had a business and wanted to extend it onto the web, that's good. If you were a programmer and invented games like Doom, you could sell those. Or sell ass-kickings over the net.
Then there's always the slim chance that joining up with Magus to create an interactive D&D site with membership would hit big.
