Everything from calling Opie a ratings spinner, said they only like Ron and FEz because they kiss their ass,called them losers for having a comedian in the studio and hiding behind him, called them complete liars with their "more gooder" ratings stuff, and the funniest of all they said "Opie and Anthony are threatened by our show". The worst was listening to that bitch Leah Remedy chime in with shit. Im sure O and A will not even mention this today because its not worth it. The bottom line is this: if D&M were really better, than the company would have put them on live in New York in the 3-7 spot and syndicated them that way. When this didn't happen, it meant that it was basically the end of their growth as radio personalities and potential Stern airs. Other than Mancow (who is too regional with his Chicago Supremacy gimmick) O&A are the next in line for the big morning drive push when Stern turns it in. Someone at the company believes it whether you or I don't. | ||||

| Psychopath Registered: Jan. 01 | What annoys me is that D&M tell them to act their age. They rip Ant for his love of video games, and I'm like, "Ass, could you stoop any lower? It's obvious that O&A like games, and they identify with your audience, something YOU FAIL TO FUCKING DO. Do you think 12-34 year olds care about Don's parenting skills? NO!" Anthony is an EXTREMELY immature guy in his early 40's. That's why we love him so much. The Opie/Godsmack comment was just harsh. Which makes me think this is somewhat of a bit, because everytime Opie mentions Godsmack, he talks about how they interviewed them and they have a history together. I don't understand how Don pulls Godsmack out of the air for no reason, considering they ARE one of Opie's favorite bands. As for the "acting your age comment..." I *believe* Stern is 48, and Opie is 38. 10 years ago, Stern was reaching his apogee in New York radio. Opie's conducting the train, and Ant's feeding the coal into the burner. AWWWW fuck, now that laughing tool that was on the other day is on the air.  | ||||

| Hanger-On Registered: Apr. 02 | The Fact of the matter is that what Don and Mike are saying is true. They are 24 in NY just like O and A are 14 in Washington. There, D & M, is #2, with a nice lead in that O and A can't capitilize on. Also, exposing O and A for trying to be 'hip' and 'cool' by pretending that they are so much younger than D&M...when in fact they are in their upper 30's just a few years younger than the D&M gang. Don't get me wrong...not a flamer or anything..as I am just as big a fan of O and A as many others are. I am one of the many who actually listened to O&A regularly before syndication. But the end result is that O and A crap on Don and Mike all the time, and they had this hour long tirade come to them. As an Addendum...i can imagine, that if anything..O&A will be pissed that they were being made fun of for being 'rebels', and trying to act young (As Don commented on these 'millionaires' wearing baggy jeans, sideways hats etc.) Those comments were very personal and could've hit hard. so, now O and A get to talk about them UNTIL 5:20. just great. the truth hurts... again? the truth hurts... | ||||

Without that anchor, everything else is fucked up. The best station to listen to is WYSP. I listen to O&A and R&F on WNEW, and then flip over to Matt n Huggy on WYSP, because listening to retards on loveline is depressing. | ||||
