| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01  | I can't believe all of the people who were so surprised at the way they treated Patty. This was Baby Evil remember. The same show that played Hitler speeches underneath Robert Cleary talking about how he was in the holocaust. Patty knew what they were like on the show. Are they like this in person? irrelevant. They tried on other occasions to embarrass her into leaving, and she came back for more. She's a 47 yr old virgin who got kicked out of her room because she was going to participate in the Cash Snatch contest (or whatever it was called). Was it cruel? yeah. I turned the dial a few times because I felt dirty just listening; but she knew what she was in for. Get over it. katylina, The 5 year requirement Masters is to get a permanent certificate. There are temporary extensions she can get if she wants to pursue it. If she got a teaching job, she would be able to afford the credits. The problem is that NYC teaching jobs are in crappy schoools - if she was willing to teach there, they'd work with her. | Psychopath Registered: May. 02 | I really don't have a problem with what Opie and Anthony did. If you want to bitch at someone, bitch at Rick. He was the one who physically removed the wig from Patty's head. He looked her dead in the eye AFTER he removed it, while she was crying, and just told her in a calm voice to turn around and move on. Rick didn't have to do it. He could have just told her to leave and let her keep the wig. And what would have happened if he let her keep it? He would have gotten tooled on by Opie for a little while, and that's it. He wasn't forced to take the wig off, he did it because he really hated her. I could have done what Opie did, but I don't think my heart would have let me do what Rick did. But it was funny. And I'm going to hell for saying that. | ||||

Don't get me wrong, I listen to them every day and f@%$#*@ love it...but I know where to draw the line on reality and fantasy. People have to realize O & A are characters to a certain point "entertainers" that get paid to entertain us. It's called being in character the problem they are really good at doing it. I am not saying they are not bringing their personalities to the table each day, but they totally add to them. If you think that they come in at 2:50 and jump on the radio your crazy the shit they pull is planed and built on. Of course they have unplanned callers sometimes, but those are screened as well. Everything you hear and see, is what they want you to hear and see. So is the shit real or fake...I would say yes it's all real but the stalker patty thing was definately made to look worse then it was. Remember last year when she started talking to Opie's girlfriend and they kicked her off the show? Well she was right back a few days later and I'm sure that retard will be back again.
