So O&A said that the board was out of control because everyone was too mean and took it too serious? Wasn't it like a week or two ago that Ant went off on the board for not being vocal enough in support of the show after some Stern fan came in and started a post about the show? Wasn't he upset that we didn't shit on the guy enough, and we didn't defend the show and their stupid contests enough? Again, I have no idea what happened or what was said today, but I do remember him getting upset about how we didn't defend the show enough in the Stern fan situation. I have days when I find certain bits less funny, and days when I see humore in something that just doesn't work for others. I do not make a habit of ripping O&A, other than some friendly tooling now and then. I must however take a second to defend "US". Is tooling on a new member who just posted the fourth new thread on the same topic, or an utterly assinine comment about a post they only half read really any different than........ Let's say.... getting bent out of shape at a caller whose radio is turned up and tuned to the show? Or perhaps a caller who hears only part of a bit and calls in a fit, never having heard the sarcasm that started the comment? "hello Steven........ Steve! .." "who?" It's actually tame compared to October of 2000 when O&A talked about this board on a daily basis and go a good weeks worth of radio from the bang party. I didn't remember them saying shit when they were trying to get syndicated. I remember Opie calling us the real fans and die heards, I remember a lot of shit and how opie cares and he doesn't let it go to his head.
