| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00 | Ok, personally i did not hear this part of the show where o&a ripped into the board. But, i have read through a lot of everyone's replies on this board, and it seems to me that the majority of people just dont get it. WHy the fuck would you join a messageboard about a certain topic/group, and proceed to rip them and always be negative? Im not a kiss-ass for opie and anthony, and i will admit, i find myself listening a little less since syndication. But, they are still the best damn thing on radio, and lately they have picked up steam again. As far as syndication goes and the fans of the tri state area, i didnt want syndication at first because i was afraid that the quality of the show would be lower, and that the NY fans would be forgotten about. But, put yourself in their shoes. They have to accomidate to other cities' needs, and it is pretty damn cool that they are getting popular in other cities across the country. Can you blame them for being excited when the ratings come out and they see that they are successful across the country? THey havent forgotten NYC or NJ, but in these contests theyve had, we've let them down. Its not their fault that other people from other cities bring up more interesting ideas about things to do sometimes. As far as the board goes, the main point of any board should be to discuss the show and to bring up different topics of interest, not only about the show, but about other realms of entertainment. There are too many on the board who would rather compare their penis length with each other than compare ideas about the show, or anything else for that matter. As a whole i do like the board, i come here to read different opinions of the show, and discuss other realms of entertainment with others. But there are some self-pretentious people on here, and somehow, the focus of this board has to be put back on the show itself, not on who has the coolest status or biggest pull around here. You might find it interesting. Makes ya wonder.... if the board, the people O&A themselves call the "hardcore fans", think the show is going downhill, why don't they listen instead of getting pissed off and saying WE are the assholes? There have been people that have been on this show on the phones that have just turned into ASSWIPES because they have been on the show. Also I don't believe that we made the O&A show. We gave them support by listening and giving them ratings, but it was them who put on great show after great show that kept us listening. They were always to busy gettign fucked over by the Lawyers and being suspended for stupid shit to even think about syndacation. And 2. All the guys that run WAAF are total jack offs. The only one that was worth anything was John Osterland. Who stole the remote bus with O and A and DEMANDED they be put back on the air or he would leave as well. Unfortunately John could do nothing with the Mumbles situation, and he has also left WAAF for an AM radio station because the Brass at AAF is THAT BAD.
