personally, i don't think O & A care about eminem being good or not. i think they were only doing it for one reason. one very good reason, to piss off krok and any other station that thinks they are cool in the other cities. i don't like eminem much either but i loved knowing that by them playing those songs, they are pissing off alot of stations in DC. DC radio blows shit and its cool to have a show that has some balls to stir some shit up. the stations here are always like "we got the new !@#$ to you first' and i have noticed they haven't done that with the new korn and i think thats funny. now they can't do that with eminem either and im glad. faggets.

Most of you are missing the point. Its funny because it pisses off Steve Kingston, who O&A have a beef with. He's a fucking scumbag Stern troll, much like many of our new posters since syndication. The point is, they have the balls to play pre-release, internet pirated music. I think its funny as hell.

As far as Eminem goes? I feel the same way about this album as I do the last one. I really like half of it, and really hate the other half. But I'll buy it for the half I like. You guys are bitching about the Eminem album, but quite frankly, the Korn album wasn't great and neither was the STP album. Just chill the fuck out.

One more thing, Roid Rage after looking at your blatant racism and hate for rap music, I'm curious, what struggling cover band do you play in? Or, are you one of those wedding sax players or some shit? I'm not a huge rap music fan, but it does require talent and a lot more of it then you probably have.

I'm a white person talking about a white "musician". How is that racist? If I had started this thread, I wouldn't have used the title ("wigger music") that was used, because I don't talk or think like that. However, rather than starting a new thread and getting flamed for doing so, I responded to this thread.
It's very convenient to throw race into the picture here, but that's entirely inaccurate. I have nothing against, and like some, R&B or jazz music, most of which is done by people of color. Both of these musical styles require more talent, IMO, than (c)rap, and I respect the talent that is required.

Neither of the above, but thanks for sharing your resume with the board.

Road Rage you weren't called ignorant for not liking rap. You were called ignorant for thinking it doesn't require talent to rap and rap isn't music. Like rap or not it takes talent to do and if you can't realize that even if you can't stand rap your ignorant.

Hey Roid, here's a nice little challenge for you, if rap takes no talent whatsoever, how about you hook up a mic to a comp, take a pre-existing beat and record a rap track? Should be a snap for someone like you.

Oh, and people did'nt call you ignorant for not liking rap music, they called you ignorant because you are trying to disprove facts...

First off, I wouldn't do it because there's enough garbage out there to last for ages. However, let's say I took the challenge and recorded my "rap". Would doing so, all of a sudden, make me a musician? According to your "facts" it would. That's like saying that picking up a stethoscope would make me a doctor.

We could argue about this for ages, but it's not worth it to me. You have your opinions, I have mine. Let's leave it at that.

I must be psycic, I knew you would say something along those lines.

Acctually...It would...Do you think all musicians went to college and studied music before performing it? No, the act of writing, creating or composing of a song makes a person a musician. Good or bad is debateable, but a musician nonetheless.

Your "arguments" have more holes in them than swiss cheese...My challenge still stands, go record a rap for me, see if it even stacks up to ANYTHING Eminem has ever done.
