| O&A Board Regular Registered: Oct. 00  | Im so sick of all these callers who feel the need to exaggerate their storys to the point of fiction.. its so rediculous, for example, that caller jsut a few moments ago "uhhh i was workin out and my partner was laughing so hard, that he dropped his weights on his head.." bullshit... who will believe that? god damit, who else is sick of clals like these? bah.. it urks me. But now that I've read the thread, I won't be able to listen to any more phone calls on the air without noticing the embellishment in the story. I think the problem is this: People call in with nothing in mind to say, and when O&A pick up they don't want to be like "that was really funny (insert butthead laugh here)" so they try to make the story a little more funny. But you're all correct, it is pretty annoying.  | ||||

Why can't they just tell their fucken story and move on.I've noticed that there are at least 4 things that these callers say. 1.Their spitting up a drink. 2.They almost choke on the afermentioned drink. 3.They almost crash their cars. 4.They drop something on themeselves or others. Why can't they just get on the air and say " O & A, that was very funny" and just end it there. | ||||

Like one time, me and my sister went to the mall and on the way home we started laughing at somthing we were talkin about and she was laughing so hard she was cryin. it was fuckin hysterical. she just starts screamin, "JJ shutup! i can't see the road im laughin so hard.! Do they think for one second we think they drove off the road, or dropped weights on their head? If they dropped weights on their damn head, wouldn't they be calling an ambulance instead of a f-ing radio station? I know that telephone calls are a major part of the show, but damn, have something intelligent to say! Where the hell is Spaz when you need him to hang up on people? | ||||
