Sorry for the long read, but I think that I have incorporated some interesting info from across the country. [/Editor Note] Syndication Now started in Philly, where they were put on live. Score one big one for the boys. But then that is when things started to go downhill. Market #3 is Chicago, where the show will be carried on tape delay from 9pm-1am. Good news is that they are on the #3 market in the US, bad news is that it is tape delay. Here is where everyone will start to see the trend. Market #4 - Dallas - Another big winner for the boys, but once again the show is not going to be live yet on tape. Rumor has it that their slot will be 10-2am replacing Lovelines on KYNG-105.3 Market #5 - Sacremento - An Infinity Classic Rock station KXOA-93.7 is flipping formats on Monday. They have already signed Stern for the morning shift and according to Sacramento.com Visit this Website, O&A are already signed and will be aired in the evenings. Another taped broadcast. Other articles have stated that O&A are slated to be in 20 markets by the end of June, it seems that Ken Stevens and Infinity are holding by that word, just they aren't making live broadcast slots available for O&A. What does everyone think? Of the 20 or so markets that are in the contract, how many do you all think that will be live?? Will O&A evenutally get shafted by Infinity using their show as weekend filler??? I hope not, but this trend doens't seem like a great start. How 'bout 'em apples??? | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Sep. 00 | Um...this may sound a little callous, but does that really matter for us? They will still be on live in New York, and they will not have to worry about involving these other markets in their discussion since they won't be calling in to contribute to the show. Also, if they are on in LA, they could be doing mid-days live Noon - 4:00 (3 hour time difference). I don't think it will affect the quality of the show here in New York though, and when push comes to shove, I think that's all that really matters. I mean, I'd love for O&A to get hugely popular and become as common a household name as Stern or Rush Limbaugh, but if that doesn't happen, we will still have them here  Now looking over That Is So Lame and beau69 as of 06/09/01 If they screw up, let me know | ||||

| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jan. 01 | Keep in mind one thing. Dallas, and other areas in the midwest are not used to this type of humor. It's pushing it for them. I tell many people when trying to explain O&A that O&A make Stern sound like the Pope. This type of humor will be a shock for many. Alot of mid-westerners think Don and Mike and Stern are "filthy mouthed". The show will have to warm up in those markets. Also, Sacramento would need to air the show at noon pacific time. Their boring bable and conversations with Don's hoah wife is quite palitable for the bottled water drinking, alpalpha and artichoke sandwich eating deeks of Sacramento. O&A's humor will be a bit much for the yuppies to handle in the middle of their day. Tape delay allows time for people to settle into their humor. A 46 year old virgin grabbing Ron Jeremey's junk while you are eating an alpalpha sprout sandwich takes some getting used to. o&aswallow Recognized His Destiny Early.
