| O&A Board Veteran Registered: Jul. 00 | Ok, so this was just a crack about donotkid me leaving the board. It had nothing to do with the NN contest. But, I’m still a “shmuckâ€, right? Why’s that? Because I posted “Daphna Wins†a few dozen times? Do you really think I’m that effin stupid? That I really think she’s going to win this contest? I really couldn’t care less who wins the contest. I am not a contestant. I am not related to any of the contestants. I don’t even know any of the contestants. So, I, much like most of you, have absolutely nothing to gain from this contest except the enjoyment of viewing the contestant’s photos. You may note that I very rarely posted “Daphna Wins†unless in response to someone else starting yet another thread to brag about their favorite contestant. I was merely making a joke about how futile the efforts of most of these threads were. Is anyone’s opinion of which they intend to vote for swayed by any of the remarks made in any of those threads? I doubt it. I guess it’s possible but I really think we all are very capable of deciding on our own which contestant our votes are going to. You may further note that that I very rarely if at all made any negative comment about any of the many contestants. Like I posted very early on in the contest… If you don’t have something nice to say, don’t say anything at all. In this case I do believe that. I don’t just tell others to do it. Whether these women are professionals or not is irrelevant. These women are putting themselves out there to be judged. That takes some guts. I know I wouldn’t be able to do it. How many of you would? The constant stream of negative comments about the women that you feel are less desirable is not going to encourage more fantastically gorgeous women to participate. If anything it discourages all potential contestants. It is painfully obvious that there is quite a bit of variety in which characteristics each board member finds most appealing. So for anyone to proclaim that his or her favorite is better than someone else’s is ridiculous. My barrage of “Daphna Wins†posts was an attempt to find some humor in the petty bickering over which entry was the best. Obviously it could be taken as me being completely out of my mind and clogging up the board with useless nonsense. Interpret them, as you will. The fact is that I intend to vote for Daphna. Not because I think she has the most perfect body. Not because I think she has the most attractive face. I intend to vote for her because she remains the only authentic board member involved in the NN contest. Silly me thinking that I should support our community. I continue to wish her luck. I hope others will vote with the board in mind but again who is going to change their vote based on something they read on this board? Furthermore, events have obviously transpired recently of which I am far less informed than most of you. Whatever went on between any of you and any of the contestants is none of my business. As I stated before, I don’t know any of the contestants. I have no loyalty to any of them. And, I am obviously not privileged to the omniscience of some of the rest of you.
