| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jul. 00 | Well, the tech guys I have are mean and stupid. They grumble grumble grumble and then don't fix the problem. There is a printer that never works and they avoid my boss cause they don't want to get yelled at again. I told one about my checksum problem and after erasing the hard drive (and my address book and bookmarks) he said that it 'was no big deal' and all I had to do was press F1 when I booted up... What sucks is that they are so grouchy that NOBODY in my office will ask them anything so they come to me with all the stupid questions cause I'm the young guy. So, I spent 15 minutes showing a secretary how to find a recipe for oatmeal raisen cookies... Maybe I should start grumbling and grumbling... And, I always thought Earth Day was April 24th. I need to go find this out! Does it rotate? If it's not April 24th, Dramarama is gonna get a piece of my mind! Adopted Newbie: Lloyd Dobler | ||||

Anyone even HALF-way competent should be able to do it. Remember - if your computer guy tells you that our hard drive has crashed, do some thinking first. IF YOU CAN GET INTO WINDOWS, YOUR HARD DRIVE IS OBVIOUSLY WORKING. I hate the fucking stupid MIS people. And VG is exactly right. April 22.
