| O&A Board Regular Registered: Jul. 00  | I've decided Americans are stupid. I was watching the Today Show before work and they were talking about the move by the US to keep out all raw meat from Britain cause of Foot and Mouth Disease. They explained that the disease only effects animals and while it is devestating to farmers' livelihoods, it is absolutely harmless to humans. The move to ban all british meat was a precautionary one to help prevent the spread and all that tourists to England need to worry about is cleaning their clothes and shoes so as to help prevent the spread.... AND, even after all this, people were saying that they are going to stop eating meat in the US and the twat Katie Couric wasn't helping by asking the Agriculture Secretary what American Consumers should be on the lookout for at the Grocery Store. Either way, it is no Mad Cow and I think people should calm the fuck down and eat a burger. Grumpy, a decent fresh steak will set you back about £5 but it's going up all the time with this foot and mouth. We do eat lamb as well but it's not so common, most of the lamb we eat is probably eaten on Friday and Saturday nights after the pub from the Kebab van!
