The Salad Tossers were victories in both Games: Game 1: Salad Tossers 21- Kid Touchers 12 Game 2: Salad Tossers 22- Kid Touchers 20 I can't believe we didn't get any coverage on the FAN. Thanks to all the people who helped make this possible. It seemed like everyone had a lot of fun. Okay - I had a few bad calls but at least I was fair about giving both sides equal shares. Froy, would it help if I said I'm sorry and that you were safe? ;) Either way, I had a great time umpiring both games. Absolutely one of the best outings yet. Let me start with thank you's: FukMeBoobs, Shotgirl, NJStraw and Mrs. Tequila - you girls rule. Thanks for manning the grill and keeping everyone fed and happy. You're the best. And thanks for indulging me and my numerous WOWs. What would an OA event be without a WOW or two? Thanks to all that brought beer, soda, food and everything else. It was one hell of a picnic. Team leaders - Gonzo, Froy, Buttmunch - You guys did a great job of managing your teams. NJStraw - I haven't laughed that hard at a sporting event ever. I don't know what was funnier, your taunting the guys on the other team or your team being distracted from defense froom laughing so hard. I think I can also ask on behalf of all the guys there - Did you have to put that blue sweater on after the icing incident? ;) j/k Panther - you must have the patience of a saint man. The absolute patience of a saint. Great to meet you bro. The ladies - Claire, FMB, SG, GrkQt, Inappr.Belle, ShotG, Straw, Amy, DXB (I know I'm missing a few - sorry). As always, it was a pleasure. it was nice to put faces to those that I hadn't met before. Raven - thank you for your contribution to the "Get Grumpy Drunk" efforts. It worked. Tequila - Ya Freak! You're lucky I didn't throw your ass out of the game. But I still love ya. DrunkGW - your new status should be "ringer". dude, was it 3 or 4 HR's. What an arm on this guy? You make Joey look small. Speaking of arms - FlockofMoosen - dude, I think you have a defective glove. You couldn't have missed all those balls on purpose. Nobody sucks that bad. Have the glove checked. While your at it, you may want to have your bat checked too! Fn Moron - You proved what happens when you take a pot smokin hippie and make him pitch - you get high scoring games. Pnderous, fn pnderous. It was nice to see the regular cast of characters - you guys know who you are. The list is too long. Great to see you feeeeyyyyygs again. It was also nice to see a lot of faces I hadn't met before - also a long list. It was great to meet all of you. As a side note, and again on behalf of the guys there (most of which won't have the nerve to post it, but fuck it, I'll post anything) I was really hoping for an impromptu wet t-shirt contest when it started raining. But alas, the ladies hid under the trees with the rest of us. ;) My last comment - Froy, I called it like I saw it. I may have been wrong, but that's how I saw it from where I was. My bad bro!
