I love Pearl Jam and STP equally. STP is plain kick ass rock and Pearl is rock and roll at it's purest form. I don't have a preference but I can understand why someone would prefer STP over Pearl Jam and vice versa.

Personally, I'd rather take an icepick to both of my ears. I hated them both from the get go.

Well i think some momo funbags said stp puts on a better show? HA! Try to get your guy out of rehab first to make some of his shows...

PJ puts on an awsome, very powerful show every performance, i love stp also, but PJ blows em away

When both bands first came out, there debut albums were strong and full of promise. But STP and PJ have had a string of follow up albums that have sucked ass.

STP does put on a better show...I have seen STP in concert about 4 times...never been let down. Then I went to see Pearl Jam at Jones Beach and wanted to see if I could get my money back....and I was not the only person who felt this way. Fyfe...face it...STP is just better...learn to respect your elders!

STP all the way!

Ten was a great record, but I like Pearl Jam less and less with every album....

as much as i love STP, i don't think you can compare weiland's songwriting skill to eddie vedder's. vedder has written so many amazing songs and if you read some of his lyrics, they are really powerful.
