Whether you agree with Kid's statements or not, I believe as a Veteran of Veterans, he should be allowed to post what he wants to post. Wait, keep reading. Sure, Kid may be arrogant, and he certainly will not deny he is a prick. But what the fuck? Is this an open forum or not? He follows THE RULES, and I actually give him a lot of credit. As a newbie, which I technically still am, I got piled on by a lot of people and royally reamed for my ignorance. Fine. Eventually, I took the hits like a man and shut my goddamn mouth. Whatever. Kid was one of the few who didn't pop in and badmouth me or tell me I am a stupid newbie. And when it comes to pile-ons, I have to say he isn't a cruel bastard. I am hard-pressed to find any instance where he has reamed a newbie lately. Some of his funniest posts have been sticking pins into the ballooned egos of some veterans. Ok, please correct me if I am wrong, but isn't Froy talking about tolerance? All Kid was saying is that he feels there is too much oversensitivity. He may be wrong, but it's HIS opinion. I've said my piece and I think I've been steadfast in my belief that the board is way too nicey nice. I don't bash newbies. I don't participate in pile-ons. When I don't like something I speak on it. If I have violated policy here, which I don't think I did, I should have been punished for it. But I wasn't. Kind of makes you think, don't it? If I don't like what you say, and I tell you to shut the fuck up, it's different from a mod doing the same. a mod has the power to silence, I do not. If you are all so through with me and don't like me, then why keep on replying here? I don't need your opinions of me, you mean shit to me. The people here that I like and care about know it. Not because of my posts, but because of my actions. While it is true that there is a sense of community, it is still a message board. Me posting that I'm going to smack the shit out of someone, doesn't mean I will actually bring them physical harm, does it? I mean, why must everything on this board be taken so seriously. You people act like we're in high school, and I stole your collective girlfriend. I didn't start this as a crusade. I was stating an opinion and trying to get some reactions.
