Whether for shock value or just controversy. I do not know. But, let me tell you something, this is not just a message board. It has become more than that, it is a place where people have arranged dates and set up meetings. People have met, either, liked or disliked who they have met. It is reality when mmebers of this board meet. You should know, you have met a lot of them, and I am jealous of you. i have not. Consider yourself lucky. Many posters of this board are great people, some are not, that's life. AND REALITY  NOBODY WANTS TO BE ADOPTED BY ME!!! Whatever.. this place is 12,000 members strong.. we can only talk about O and A so much before we start to realize that it's possible to relate to one another in other ways as well. I don't think what Kid had to say was to incite anything other than intelligent conversation... which is more than I can say for a lot of other threads I've seen. Everyone just relax, hang loose... go bash a newbie or defile a thread or something. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD HAVE SOME GODDAMN FUN AROUND HERE!!!!!!!!!!

| Hanger-On Registered: Jan. 70 | KP, you are right, I've met a lot of people from the board. But, there are very few I would have in my home. That to me is the true definition of friendship. There are people that I have met that I would never talk to off the board, if not at a board function. Also, there are posts, and then there are IM conversations and phone conversations, and furthermore face-to-face conversations. As sure as I sat at the bar next to Diceman Saotome, after the big fight we had on the board not so long ago, I don't confuse the two. Just because you disagree with me about something on the board does not mean we can't be friends off of the board. That is my point and has been all along. Too much personal shit has infiltrated the board. Too many people discuss things that shouldn't be discussed outside of the home. My grandmother always told me, "Keep your business off the streets". You can share these things with people in chat, or IM and not expect to be made fun of. But, when you come to a message board, you should expect to be ridiculed for anything you say. If you can't handle it, maybe you shouldn't post personal shit.
