Quote:Originally posted by The Brain Passages written 100 years later and choosen by the council of Nicea to put forward the most collaborative story. Where's Rufus? And we won't go into the whole Mary Magadline story, which I did hear about before "Davinci Code". There is comments in the Dead Sea scrolls that he was closer to her than any of the apostles, and I mean that emotionally. I personally don't trust the Bible as an accurate historical account simply because I do not trust the early church and how it handled heresy. If Jesus was black, that truth would have been crushed by an European-based council. I also believe that many of the translations have been made to fit the European culture. The story about the manger and no room in the inn fits nicely to a European culture of traveling from town to town with animals sleeping in different buildings. But back 2000 years ago, there is evidence that a family's animals may have slept on the ground floor and the people above them. A simple mistranslation of a Greek word to hotel instead of "the upstairs or human quarters" offers a romantic image of Jesus being born alone in a stable instead of an overcrowded extended family domicile. I claim none of these as facts, just thoughts and further examples of the white man keeping everyone down.

Passion Part 2 "Electric Boogaloo"
<marquee>We are the music-makers, And we are the dreamers of dreams, Wandering by lone sea-breakers, And sitting by desolate streams; World-losers and world-forsakers, On whom the pale moon gleams: Yet we are the movers and shakers Of the world for ever, it seems.</marquee>
