Was that the game where you had to fly from cloud (rock?) to cloud?

Joust, I think.

We don't want your forgiveness. We won't make excuses. We're not gonna blame you, even if you are an accessory... But we will not except your natural order. We didn't come for absolution, we didn't ask to be redeemed. But isn't how it is, every goddamn time... Your prayers are always answered, in the order they're received...

Oh yeah, maybe you're right. I could never play that well...always kept skidding off the clouds (rocks).

I used to love Dig-Dug and Tetris as well.

It was Joust. My brother was really good at it. I sucked at it...still do.TOP!!!

Oh yeah, I suggest MAME for those of you that don't have it. Between my brother and I we downloaded somewhere in the neighborhood of about 250 games from the 70's all the way up to the late 90's. I was sure to download a few of my favorites. If you have a cable modem, you can whack down a game like Marvel Vs. Street Fighter in about 10 minutes, and you can cheat, so you're not constantly getting killed or pissed off over losing the game at the best part.

That Midway collection sounds pretty sweet, may have to see what games are on it.
Midway ArcadeTreasures

They're selling it for $19.95 and will be available in november

Yeah, but all of the D/L sites are gone.....

(But I have yet to figure out how to create cheat files....)

Boy the way Glen Miller played,
songs that made the hit parade,
guys like us we had it made,
those were the days,
and you know where you were then,
girls were girls and men were men,
mister we could use a man like Herbert Hoover again,
didn't need no welfare states
everybody pulled his weight,
gee our old Lasalle ran great,
those were the days!
