Overall I liked the movie have to see it again to get a full grasp on things.

wow. no wonder you're confused, you don't even remember the name of the second movie...

so yeah...what confused you?

I knew as I was writing that something didn't look right, but it was late and I didn't feel like looking it up. Tongue

As for what confused me, not here. I don't want to ruin it for anyone.
Not like they'd need me for that anyway. The Wachowskis did a good enough job destroying it. Rolleyes

Actually, I don't know if it was intended to be a trilogy but it was definitely intended to go beyond the first film - the movie studio didn't want to make a definite cliffhanger or promise a sequel if the movie bombed since they invested a shitload of cash into the SFX alone.

As for Revolutions, I thought it was excellent. Sure, there are some unanswered questions, but very few. Overall I think it summed up the series well - and it did it in a way I pretty much figured it would. I was a little confused myself, not by what I saw but how certain things fit but after reading others thoughts and seeing how I thought and felt similar - and also be going back over the prior 2 films, it all made perfect sense. This is one of those rare movies that makes you get a sense of everything, and not whats presented to you in the middle of the screen.

Watching the Animatrix and the ingame movie footage was very helpful also.

Overall, i think conceptually this is one of the better sci-fi stories to come out in a long time - it was just a little flashy with SFX, but it still worked for me.

I enjoyed the movie as well. You really have to think back to the other two while you are watching it to grasp the whole concept. I think that is a little hard for some people since the original was released 4 years ago. There was this site I saw that explained things very well, but I can't think of where I saw it at the moment.

All and all I liked the entire trilogy.
