Is it ever ok to cheat?

Yes, marriage is definately a two way street however you cannot blame a spouse for staying married to a jerkoff for lack of not knowing about his gross hobbies. I think the situation TinyMike was talking about is completely fucked up and personally feel bad for this mans wife.

The problem (most often, anyway) with cheating is that the cheater feels the need to keep it secret, which creates stress on the cheater (trying to figure out lies and maintain the illusion that nothing is out of the ordinary), while putting the person being cheated on in an unfair situation of believing that he/she is in a stable relationship.

Perhaps the best way for any person to avoid this is to let their significant other know that they would prefer to be able to maintain healthy physical and emotional relationships with other people (or hell, that they just want to be able to sleep around).
